Pierre-Auguste Cot

So I was flipping through Artrenewal.org when I came across a painting that looked a lot like a Bouguereau that I hadnt seen before. It was by this guy Pierre-Auguste Cot ( 1837 – 1883) who was a French painter. Thanks to wikipedia I found out that he did in fact study under William-Adolphe Bouguereau. Anyways, I thought I would share some of his paintings....

Images are from ArtRenewal.org, Wikipedia and pierreaugustecot.org

My parents have the second painting. I don't know if it's an original or a print, but it's been hanging in my house for quite some time. It's pretty amazing.
